Terrence Takes Down Aces
Terrence Chan has just managed to take down what is likely to be one of the biggest pots of the whole day and we were there to catch all the action.
It started when play folded around to Chan in the hijack. He raised it up to 450. The small blind made the call and then the player in the big blind three-bet to 1,200. Chan made the call and so did the small blind as the three players would take to the flop.
Flop:
The small blind player checked on the flop and the big blind then bet 1,100. Chan made the call, while the small blind got out of the way.
Turn:
This is when it all started to heat up. The big player would this time check and Chan bet 1,700. Back on Chan's opponent and he would insta-raise it up with an extra 2,000. Chan made it 5,200 and his opponent immediately shoved all in. It was only a few thousand more to Chan and he would make the call.
Chan tabled for flopped trips, while his opponent turned over for nothing but a pair of pocket rockets. The river landed and changed nothing as Chan took down the very nice pot and sent one player out the door.
