Quad Jacks For Deadman
The completed board read when we found Maximos Pertsinidis and Simon Deadman engaged in a sizable hand. With well over 60,000 piled in the middle of the table, Pertsinidis checked over to Deadman.
Deadman reached into his chip stack and came out with a bet of 50,000. This bet sent Pertsinidis deep into the tank as it was a solid chunk of his own remaining chips. Almost four minutes passed in silence while Pertsinidis contemplated what to do.
"I call," said Pertsinidis, pushing a large stack of chips past the betting line.
Deadman confidently rolled over for quad jacks and the stone cold nuts. Pertsinidis' hand was thrown to the muck and Deaman was awarded a pot that brought his stack to right around 300,000.
